At MINA \u2013 Museum of Immersive New Art, art doesn\u2019t hang on a wall. It surrounds you. Projections cover the walls and the floor, music and sound come from every direction, and you become part of the story. If you\u2019re visiting us for the first time, here\u2019s what to expect.<\/h6>\n

What immersive art means<\/h3>\n

Immersive art turns an artwork into a space you can move through. At MINA, the paintings of great masters, ancient worlds and the depths of the ocean are recreated digitally and projected in 360\u00b0, with a soundtrack composed specially for each show. There is no single \u201eright spot\u201d to watch from: every corner of the room shows you something different.<\/h6>\n

What you can see<\/h3>\n

\u2013 Masters and masterpieces<\/strong> \u2013 journeys through the worlds of artists such as Van Gogh, Monet, Kandinsky and Matisse.
\u2013 Extraordinary worlds<\/strong> \u2013 stories about the Olympian gods, ocean life, dinosaurs and Ancient Egypt.
\u2013 MINA Specials<\/strong> \u2013 film screenings, concerts and special experiences, announced in the programme.<\/h6>\n

How the visit works<\/h3>\n

Shows run in sessions, usually two shows per session. You can sit on the bean bags, lie down on the floor or walk around.<\/h6>\n

MINA Kids<\/h3>\n

For the little ones there is MINA Kids, an art & tech play space where children discover art and technology through play.<\/h6>\n

A few tips<\/h3>\n

\u2013 Buy your tickets online, for the time that suits you.
\u2013 Arrive 10\u201315 minutes before your session starts.
\u2013 Session times change from week to week, so check the \u201eSchedule\u201d page before your visit.
\u2013 For school groups, birthdays or private events, write to us and we\u2019ll prepare an offer.<\/h6>\n
