Monet: The Immersive Show

“Monet: The Immersive Show,” the first immersive art experience dedicated to the great artist Claude Monet ever organized in Romania, will be exclusively launched in Cluj-Napoca by MINA – Museum of Immersive New Art. This event will mark the official inauguration of MINA Cluj, the largest space dedicated to digital art and immersive experiences in Europe, on November 1. Presented by Banca Transilvania, the show will provide the audience with a unique opportunity to explore the works of the famous Impressionist painter through technology in a captivating way.

The show offers a sensory journey through Claude Monet's masterpieces, where over 160 works of the renowned Impressionist painter come to life in an immersive environment, providing the audience with an innovative and unique artistic experience. Visitors will be surrounded by oversized projections displaying Monet's works on all the walls of the space, revealing fascinating details of each brushstroke and color. Throughout the performance, seamless transitions from his paintings to 3D environments recreate the real landscapes that inspired Monet, offering a new and profound perspective on how the artist viewed the world.

Produced by the MINA Studios team, the show impressively and vibrantly presents Monet's works, divided into 11 thematic chapters that follow the artistic evolution and life of the painter. The themes addressed include: "The Anonymous Society of Painters, Sculptors, and Engravers," "Impression, Sunrise," "Japanese Influences," "En Plein Air," "Serialism," "The Franco-Prussian War," "The Waterfall," "Ultraviolet Light," "Bateau-atelier," "The Garden at Giverny," "Camille Monet (née Doncieux)," and, of course, the famous "Nymphéas" (Water Lilies).

“Monet: The Immersive Show” provides a unique opportunity to delve into the world of the famous French painter, combining art with cutting-edge technology. The extraordinary projections and carefully chosen soundtrack create an immersive atmosphere, inviting the audience to experience Monet's creative universe in an interactive and emotional way.
